When establishing a budget for a wedding, most people don't think any further  than the wedding day itself. One of the most cherished and thought out elements of the wedding, is of course the bridal gown, which along with the wedding ring, is the very symbol of commitment itself. A bride puts more time and thought into finding her perfect gown than just about any other part of the festivities, yet once the big day is over, the gown is often tossed aside, given to her mother, or hung in the back of a closet with little thought-out of sight, out of mind.

There are several reasons that it is important to have your gown cleaned and preserved by Kite's as soon as possible. We are the only local member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists, a not for profit group, active in several countries world wide and we insure that once we preserve your gown, it will remain as beautiful as the day you bought it.

At Kite's, we take special care when cleaning your gown here in our facility, specifically targeting any sugar or salt based spills preventing latent stains that could yellow with time as the sugar caramelizes. The materials we carefully pack your gown in prevent it's yellowing or weakening of the fabric as years pass, enabling you to pass it on as a family treasure to the next bride. We see brides coming in all the time wanting to wear their mother's, grandmother's, and even great grandmother's gown and it's one of our greatest joys to be able to play a part in that.

Gown preservation is a great Bridal shower or wedding gift that creates an invaluable family heirloom for generations to come!
